Dave was sitting in his bedroom, nervous, irritated, still thinking of what had just happened. He had entered his father"s server room, played a bit with the cables and then everything had gone quiet. The equipment had stopped working all of a sudden. He had left the room immediately and headed for his own bedroom. Now he had little time. He knew that his father would soon go up the stairs and look into his server room. Every evening, he checked if the fans installed at the rack shelf were still working and if the temperature in the room had not risen too much. Dave had to tell him before he noticed, otherwise he would be so angry at him! Dave finally stood up, took a deep breath and left his bedroom. The door to the server room was still ajar. He must have forgotten to close it, which was another stupid thing. He air conditioning was on inside the room. Dave closed the door quietly and then went down the stairs. He was going to tell his father that he had tampered with the rack shelf and that he had pulled one of the cables and the main computer stopped working. Then he hah had no idea what to do with it. Dave knew what his father would say: that he might have been given a shock or that he might have destroyed one of is devices.
